Minimalist Landscape 2003 – 2012

Early attempts at abstract minimalism, fields of colour and a solitary object on horizon. Abstract simplicity evolved into fuzzy clutter. I desperately wanted to stop painting these, but continued to be drawn to whatever it is I was trying to find hidden deep in their void. In other words, I was hooked. Art Galleries, collectors and interior designers were drawn to their simple aesthetic appeal. I was very thankful.

Eventually I put this abstract oil painting series to rest and ignited my scribble painting series.
